Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how TechBiz Security ("we", "us", "our") handles information in connection with the mobile game Arrow Unwind: Tap Away Puzzle (the "Game"), available on Google Play. It also explains the choices and rights you have.
The short version
- The Game has no login and no accounts, and we do not run any servers. Your progress, coins, hints and settings are stored only on your device.
- The Game shows ads through Google AdMob. The Google Mobile Ads SDK collects certain device data (such as your IP address and advertising ID) and shares it with Google to serve ads, measure them and prevent fraud.
- In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland we ask for your consent before ads are personalized. Without consent, you see non-personalized ads.
- Purchases are handled entirely by Google Play. We never see your payment details.
- The Game is not directed at children under 13.
1. Who we are
The Game is published by TechBiz Security, Abdullah Center, Office 09, Multan, Punjab 60000, Pakistan. For the purposes of the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR"), we are the controller of the limited personal data processed through the Game, together with Google where Google acts as an independent controller for its advertising services (see Section 4).

2. Information stored on your device
To make the Game work, it saves the following on your device (in the app's private storage). This information is not sent to us; we have no servers that receive it.
- Level progress and best results;
- Coin and hint balances;
- Settings (for example sound, music and vibration);
- Daily Challenge history and trophies;
- Ad-frequency counters (used to apply our fair-ad limits, such as how many ads you have seen today);
- Google Play purchase tokens (used only to make sure a purchase is granted once and to restore non-consumable items such as Remove Ads).
Android backup. The Game allows Android's built-in Auto Backup. If you have turned on backup for your Google account on your device, Android may back up the Game's saved data to your Google account and restore it when you reinstall the Game or set up a new device. This backup is performed by Android and Google under your Google account settings; we cannot access it. You can turn backup off, or delete backups, in your device's settings (Settings > Google > Backup, wording varies by device).
3. Device permissions
The Game requests only:
- Internet and network state: to load ads and to connect to Google Play for purchases. The Game itself works offline.
- Vibrate: for optional haptic feedback.
- Advertising ID (
com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID, added by the Google Mobile Ads SDK): lets the ads SDK read your device's advertising ID, subject to your device settings and consent choices. - Billing (
com.android.vending.BILLING, added by the Google Play Billing Library): to make in-app purchases through Google Play.
The Game does not request access to your location, camera, microphone, contacts, photos or files.
4. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The Game is free to play and is supported by ads served by Google AdMob, using the Google Mobile Ads SDK. Ad types are banner ads, interstitial ads (shown only between levels) and optional rewarded ads (which you choose to watch for a reward). The first 10 levels have no ads.
According to Google's published disclosure for the Google Mobile Ads SDK, the SDK automatically collects and shares the following with Google for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention:
| Data | Examples |
|---|---|
| IP address | May be used to estimate the general (approximate) location of your device. |
| Product interactions | App launches, taps on ads, video views. |
| Diagnostic information | App and SDK performance, such as launch time and hang rate. |
| Device identifiers | Android advertising ID, app set ID and, where applicable, other identifiers. |
This data is encrypted in transit (TLS). It is sent directly from your device to Google; we do not receive it, except as aggregated, non-identifying reports in our AdMob account (for example, the number of ad impressions).
Personalized and non-personalized ads. Ads are personalized (based on your interests) only where you have given consent where consent is required, and where your device settings allow it. Otherwise, Google serves non-personalized ads, which are based on context (such as the Game itself and your approximate location) rather than your profile. Non-personalized ads still use data for frequency capping, aggregated reporting and fraud prevention.
Learn more about how Google uses information from apps that use its services: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services and the Google Privacy Policy.
Consent in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the Game uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP), a consent management platform certified under the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework, to ask for your consent before storing or accessing information on your device and before ads are personalized. You can accept, reject or manage choices per purpose and per ad partner. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time from the privacy options entry in the Game's Settings screen. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing carried out before withdrawal.
5. In-app purchases (Google Play)
The Game offers optional in-app purchases (for example Remove Ads and coin packs). All purchases are processed by Google Play under Google's terms and the Google Privacy Policy. We do not receive or store your name, email address, card number or other payment details. The Game receives from Google Play only the information needed to confirm and deliver a purchase (such as the product ID and a purchase token), which is stored on your device as described in Section 2.
6. Crash and performance information
The Game does not include any analytics or crash-reporting SDK of its own. If you have chosen to share usage and diagnostics data with Google on your device, Google Play may provide us with aggregated crash and performance statistics (Android vitals) and crash reports through the Google Play Console. These reports are generated by Google under your device settings and Google's privacy policy; they do not identify you to us.
7. Why we process data and our legal bases (GDPR / UK GDPR)
| Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Storing and accessing information on your device for ads, and personalized advertising (EEA/UK/Switzerland) | Your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and the ePrivacy rules). You can withdraw it at any time. |
| Non-personalized ads, ad measurement and fraud prevention, where permitted without consent | Our legitimate interests in funding a free game and preventing ad fraud (Art. 6(1)(f)). |
| Delivering and restoring in-app purchases | Performance of a contract with you (Art. 6(1)(b)). |
| Responding to your emails and requests | Our legitimate interests in supporting players, or steps you ask us to take (Art. 6(1)(b)/(f)). |
8. Sharing of information
We do not sell your personal information for money. Information is shared only as follows:
- Google (AdMob): as described in Section 4. Under some US state laws, providing data to an ad network for cross-context behavioral advertising may be considered "sharing" or a "sale"; see Section 11.
- Google (Google Play): to process purchases and provide Android vitals, as described in Sections 5 and 6.
- Legal reasons: if required by law, or to protect our rights, users or the public.
- Business transfers: if the Game is sold or transferred, subject to this Policy.
9. Data retention
Data stored on your device stays there until you clear the Game's storage or uninstall the Game (and, if backed up, until the Android backup is deleted or expires). Data collected by Google is retained according to Google's own policies (see How Google retains data). If you email us, we keep the correspondence only as long as needed to handle your request and meet legal obligations.
10. Your choices and rights
Choices available to everyone
- Advertising ID: you can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of ads personalization, in your Android settings (Settings > Privacy > Ads, or Settings > Google > Ads, depending on the device).
- Consent (EEA/UK/Switzerland): change your choices any time via the privacy options entry in the Game's Settings.
- Remove Ads: the Remove Ads purchase removes banner and interstitial ads. Rewarded ads remain available but are always optional.
- Delete game data: clear the Game's storage (Settings > Apps > Arrow Unwind > Storage > Clear storage) or uninstall the Game. This permanently deletes your progress and balances from the device. Non-consumable purchases can be restored from Google Play.
Rights under GDPR / UK GDPR
If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, you have the right to access, rectify and erase your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Because we do not hold your game data on any server, most requests can be fulfilled through the device controls above. For data held by Google, you can use Google's tools at myaccount.google.com or contact Google directly. You can always contact us at support@techbiz-sec.com and we will help; we respond within one month.
11. Notice to California and other US state residents
This section applies to residents of California (CCPA as amended by the CPRA) and other US states with similar laws.
- Categories of personal information collected in the last 12 months (through the Google Mobile Ads SDK): identifiers (advertising ID, app set ID, IP address); internet or other electronic network activity (interactions with ads and the app); approximate geolocation derived from IP address; and diagnostic information. Sources: your device. Purposes: advertising, analytics and fraud prevention.
- Sale or sharing: we do not sell personal information for money. Making identifiers and ad-interaction data available to Google for personalized (cross-context behavioral) advertising may be considered "sharing" under the CPRA. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information.
- Your rights: to know/access, delete and correct personal information; to opt out of sale or sharing; and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
- How to opt out: delete your advertising ID or turn on "Opt out of Ads Personalization" in your Android settings, or email us at support@techbiz-sec.com with the subject "Do Not Sell or Share".
- How to make a request: email support@techbiz-sec.com. Because we do not hold accounts or identify players, we may be unable to link data to you; we will explain what we can do. You may use an authorized agent.
We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16.
12. Children
The Game is intended for a general audience aged 13 and over and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and the Game does not ask for age, name, email or other contact details. In compliance with the US Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), if we learn that personal information of a child under 13 has been collected through the Game, we will take steps to delete it and to stop it from being used. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information through the Game, please contact us at support@techbiz-sec.com. In the EEA and UK, where a user is below the local age of digital consent, consent for personalized advertising must be given or authorized by a parent or guardian.
13. International transfers
Google may process data collected by its SDKs in the United States and other countries. Where personal data from the EEA, the UK or Switzerland is transferred, Google relies on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
14. Security
Game data is kept in the app's private storage on your device, which other apps cannot read. Data sent by the Google Mobile Ads SDK and Google Play is encrypted in transit using TLS. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we keep the data we handle to a minimum.
15. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time, for example if the Game's features or the services it uses change. We will post the updated Policy at https://techbiz-sec.com/arrow-unwind/privacy-policy and change the "Last updated" date. Where required by law, we will ask for your consent again.
